I'm one sassy southern Mama who loves Jesus and isn't afraid to shout it. My passions are Jesus, my husband, my kids, and chocolate. I'm a teacher turned Christian writer. Ask me why I love Jesus and be prepared to sit a spell.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul, but don't forget to love your neighbor as yourself. I am a firm believer that we can change the world one person at a time - by being Christ with the skin on to those who are in need.
Are you a sheep or a goat?
Carol- Were you in our house today? You weren’t – but God knew I needed this. This post is such a “perspective checker”. Thank you for reminding me of God’s grace and mercy to me.

That was so great! I am definetly going to remember this and wait with open arms. I know that is what my son needs. Thank you for bringing that to light! It was beautifully written.
Just sooo good.
Okay, it has been one of those days around our house, too. The teacher part of me is all to quick to rebuke with harsh words when one of my own ISN”T “just the perfect student” (and that seems to be often). Thanks for the kick in the behind that reminds me to do with my own what I would have always advised my classroom parents to do.
I need so much to practice more mercy and grace with my girls. I was actually asking Him this morning to help me speak to my girls the way He speaks to me. Thank you so much for sharing this!
mmmmmmm. That preaches…
