Extreme Spiritual Makeover
May 26Goodness gracious! I’ve just got to share with you about my fabulous weekend. When I was asked to speak at the Extreme Spiritual Makeover Women’s Conference I had no idea how blessed I would be. Cliffside Baptist Church with the support of their wonderful pastor, Pastor Joey, put on a women’s conference that would rival the bigger conferences in bigger cities. This conference was spectacular, to say the least. One special lady, Tammy Webb, along with a fearless team of women worked to put on an event that people will be talking about for a long time. These ladies thought of everything! There were even hand sanitizing wipes in the Chic-fil-A boxed lunches.
I was the first speaker of the day. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed speaking to the women there about how God has given me an extreme spiritual makeover. I love Jesus, and I love to talk about how He has changed my life.
The emcee for the day was Carol Davis from 106.9 The Light. She was a riot! I really enjoyed getting to meet her. Then there was my new friend Janet. Wow! That is all I can say. God has blessed Janet with the most incredible voice. And that’s not all, she writes her own songs and is beautiful and funny. If you want to be blessed, go to her site and purchase her new CD. I’ve been singing her original song Come Join in the Choir all day today. It’s one of my favorites.
After I spoke, Debbie Sobeski from Hannah’s Hope Ministries shared her story. Let me just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. God moved. This sweet mother is filled with the Lord and she shines. Go visit her site to find out Hannah’s story. Next Leslie Nease from Real Life with Leslie Nease spoke. She was a contestant on the China edition of the TV show Survivor. I was so blessed by what she had to say. She encouraged us to get out of our “Holy Huddles” and get into the real world and just love on people the way that Jesus would.
Last, my good friend Amy Wyatt from Signs, Miracles, and Wonders spoke. God has gifted this woman with speaking. She is a natural. She shared her incredible story of her son Spencer’s miracle birth. It doesn’t matter how many times I hear it, it always brings tears to my eyes.
Thanks to each of you who prayed me!

What an awesome experience you guys had. I just read about it on Amy’s blog too. I wish I could of lived close enough to attend this. It sounded like so much fun and I love hearing about Jesus all the time so I would of been fired up like you guys sound. Glad to hear you all had a great weekend and sounds like the goodie bags were pretty cool too.
Sounds wonderful. Affirms how much we were made for community. We miss out on so much when we lock ourselves away.
