Courage on a Camel

Often the setting of adventure stories, the Sahara desert has a reputation for danger that is no exaggeration. So why would 20 men choose to load up camels once a month and cross the world’s hottest lands?

Join me at The Presidential Prayer Team to find out. Click HERE to read the rest of today’s devotion.

I was inspired to write today’s devotion after reading an article in a magazine I get from Voice of the Martyrs. Do you realize people are still persecuted for their love of Christ? In many places in the world, Christians are not free to worship.

Voice of the Martyrs is a great organization that brings light to those imprisoned for their faith and gets people like you and me to join forces in prayer for them.

“I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:36

You may not be able to physically go to prison halfway across the world, but you can  lift these Christ followers to God in prayer. If you visit the VOM website, you can sign up to get a FREE subscription to the magazine, too!

*As a reminder, the link for the devotion is only direct today. After today, you will need to select 8/13 from the drop-down menu on The Presidential Prayer Team’s site.
