This week, two sweet ladies have honored me by giving me blog awards.  The first is from Kimberly at A Planting of the Lord.  It is the “You Encourage Me to Follow in His Footsteps” award.  Thank you, Kimberly.  You are so sweet and encouraging with your words.  She said I didn’t have to pass it on, but I am going to anyway.  I give this award to Amy at Signs, Miracles, and Wonders because Amy is my real-life friend who encourages me to walk in His footsteps.  

The second award is from a sweet blogger at A Cup of Joy.  Thank you for lavishing me with your kindness.  This is the Excellent Blog award.  I honestly am so excited that I even have people that want to read what I write.  This is so fun!  I am supposed to pass this on to 10 blogs that I think are excellent.  I’ve only chosen five, but here goes… I give this award to:

I'm one sassy southern Mama who loves Jesus and isn't afraid to shout it. My passions are Jesus, my husband, my kids, and chocolate. I'm a teacher turned Christian writer.     I am glad you liked the award and wanted to pass it on. I didn’t want anyone to feel any pressure or obligation. 🙂
    That is so funny that you are reading Exodus, too. I am making slow progress as I am also doing a Beth Moore study (lots o’ homework!). But God always amazes me how whatever I am reading in His Word is exactly what I need exactly when I need it!

    I am overwhelmed to know you picked me. I am thankful to know my thoughts encourage you.

    I just got back from a writers conference and I’m tired and on a cloud too. You picked me is the icing on the cake for me. WOW! God is good to me.

    I hope to be back when I am not so tired. I had 61 e-mails to sift through. And yours was one of them.
