Howdy, y’all!  I’ve been cracking away at another book proposal that needs to be done in the next two weeks.  Please pray for me.  This one is for a book about serving others.  Can you guess it’s name?  Yep.  You guessed it! sheep to the right  I know you’ll all rush out and buy at least five copies, right?  Just kidding. (not really)

I know I’m guilty of going through my daily routine completely oblivious to the needs around me.  This is a book to help us recognize the needs around and step up to meet them.  It’s about being Jesus to others.  
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

 

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

 

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’


 “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

I found this clip on You Tube, and it fit perfectly for what I’m talking about.  Plus, it is a take-off on the Mac/PC commercials, which I love.  Y’all know I’m a Mac girl.  Can you guess which one in this video is the Mac?  Enjoy!

    Bible Bowl Legend…too funny. Lord, deliver us from that “four holy walls” – “members only” attitude. We should all serve in our everyday life.

    Love the clip!!! You know, it’s really funny, but so very true of so many people who have been living what I have dubbed the “legalistic lie” of how to “play” church. Can’t wait for that book to come out!!!!

    Bless you Carol..I’ve been praying since I read this the other day but I guess I never came to your site to comment. So how are you doing? I figured since you were super busy at something important
    I shouldn’t bother you, so I’m not expecting an answer…OK funny Mac girl…enjoyed your clip…you ctack me up…Sheep to the Right…
    catchy title but I think I’ve seen that ONE…(LOL)and if it’s about being Jesus to others & you are so engrossed in completing it that you are forsaking all others…isn’t that a bit of a paradox…ohhhhh, I get it! Just stopping in to wish you the best

    I am so excited for you! I want to read the book. So, make sure you let us know when it comes out.

    Thanks for continueing to pray for my family. Things are better… Andrea has graduated high school and will start University of Alabama in the fall. We are excited about this college choice ..especially since it is only one hour away. Andrea is making progress and is showing signs of the Andrea before the drama. She worked VBS this week with the preschool and they had almost 30 each day. She was so tired when she got home. LOL
    Please keep us on the pray list. I know the reason things have worked out so far is because of prayer warriors like you who keep lifting us up to our heavenly father!
