Dear Colin,

Happy 7th Birthday!  July 26, 2001 you were born.  Daddy and I were so excited to have you.  You make our lives exciting.  There is never a dull moment with you.  You always bring a smile to my face.  You have always loved listening to Alison Krauss.  Daddy and I went to see her in concert when you were still in my tummy, and I think you danced the whole time!  This was your favorite song.  I used to sing it to you as I rocked you to sleep.  I can still picture it in my mind.   You have gotten so big, but you’ll always be my baby – baby o’ mine.

This video is of Colin at about 3 months old.  You can see his daddy is smitten.  He wasn’t the only one.

    That is such a precious video! I don’t know how you have it in Blogger with that sweet Baby song but that’s where that special hubby comes in…and that GREAT communication you’ve been working on and writing on comes in…so you eating sushi and got a dog both for this TREASURE video!!!

    Well, it was worth it!!! Amy hasn’t posted yet, has she?..I’m waiting so I can go back to bed!!!

    My oldest was 7 on June 21st. My how time flies. I got all teary watching that video – brings back memories of my little one who isnt so little anymore. Almost makes me want to have another one………….

    Happy Birthday to your sweet boy and to the Mama that birthed him! My son is really into Indiana Jones right now too. Who would picture Indiana Jones missing his two front teeth? LOL There is nothing like living with a little boy! God is so good to have given us these blessings.
