Blessed Be the Name of the Lord

Sep 20

Yesterday, I drove to the hospital and heard this song. It really spoke to my heart. As I sang along, I lifted my hand (one was on the steering wheel) in praise as tears streamed down my face. Grace had been put back under the bili light on Friday. We felt we had taken a giant step backwards. But as I drove to the hospital Saturday morning, I felt God with me – and I praised. I meant it when I sang, “though the darkness closes in Lord, still I will say blessed be the name of the Lord.”

But friends when I got to the hospital, I found out that Grace was coming home! I can not tell you how elated I was. I know that I know that I know God answers prayer. Blessed be His name!

Blessed be your name

In the land that is plentiful
Where the streams of abundance flow
Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name

When I’m found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,

I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say…
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

Blessed be your name

When the sun’s shining down on me
When the world’s all as it should be
Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name

On the road marked with suffering
Though there’s pain in the offering
Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,

I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say…
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

You give and take away

You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, Blessed be your name

Thank you again for your prayers! They have certainly been felt. Enjoy the slideshow. I love you all!
