Okay, my newest devotion is up today! There was a little confusion last week when the ladies at Faith Lifts got so excited, they published my devotion early. LOL! They caught the error and have re-posted it today. I really like this one. It is called Close to You. Go check it out!

That is a great one, Carol. I identified with one of the comments left on FaithLives about viewing our relationship with God as a spousal one: We often talk about our relationship to our Lord as a parental one, which it most certainly is, but the ‘spousal’ relationship that we have as Christ’s ‘bride’ is certainly something to remember as well.
Okay–that probably didn’t make any sense–hopefully it did!
