Do you all get the emails from Reunion.com telling you that classmates are searching for you? I must get them at least once or twice a day. I feel so important. Someone out there is searching. And they are searching for me! When they lay their head on the pillow at night, the last thoughts going through their minds before they succumb to sleep are… Where in the world is Carol? What is she up to? Is she still the Most Humorous? (the senior superlative I was given in high school)
Reunion.com
May 20Just who is looking for me I wonder? I get a kick out the emails that say…Could it be your high school sweetheart? I’m thinking, if it is why doesn’t he just holler upstairs and say, “Where are you?” ‘Cause I married him, you see.
Well, I got to thinking about those people who are drawn in from the emails and actually join Reunion.com to find out who is searching for them. If you are one of those people, I have a news flash. Someone even more important than your high school sweetheart or your long lost BFF is searching for you. It’s Jesus Christ. He is searching for all of his lost lambs every day. And when He finds you, there will most definitely be a Reunion, my friends. But it will take place in heaven.
So, I must ask. Are you going to the Reunion? If you haven’t signed up for Christ’s Reunion, just know He is looking for you today.
And if you are one of the six people from Redan High School searching for me because you desperately desire to know what I am up to…I’m busy planning a Reunion. I’m inviting everybody I know. Won’t you come?
Wow… what a great post. I don’t know how you always take these everyday things and draw such great spiritual applications from them. No wonder I like hanging out with you 😉
ABSOLUTELY FANTABULOUS CAROL!! 🙂
AWESOME! It is about time someone speak up…but the correlation was
just aMazing!!! Thanks Carol for not only giving me aha moment…
a little laugh but most importantly
something to think about passing on…to all those from my Class Reunion that are truly lost!
Mine was last year so I am inudated from classmates.com every weekand I think I’m up to 178 searching and I wish that they were
searching for HIM…cause I’m found! This is too GREAT!!! Do I have your permission to use it???
I could link it but I want to somehow put it on our messageboard.
I’ve been told they are still trying to get together weekly.
I was so devastated at my Reunion
at the lives of my classmates and so many are without God. But I encountered a few that want to rally together to bring in the lost:ranging from No God at all
to we’ll take our chance! Why are you wasting your time on Sun.? I was asked…I left broken hearted and crying out to God for their salvation, a breakthrough, a turn around…anything to reach them..but above all His Mercy on me and on them! Bless you Carol for another EXCELLENT post…I knew you were voted the MOST FUNNY!
(((LOL)))hahaha…
So cool!
This could be an Internet Cafe post. It’s so good!
Girl, that Reunion is the only one I am planning on going to! 🙂
(Really now, I don’t need to relive high school. Once was more than enough!)
Such a terrific post!!!! You get my vote for “most humorous”! 🙂
