Sometimes the only place we can find a little solace is in the arms of our Father.
Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 NIV
Father, I pray during this time of busy and bustle I will keep my eyes focused on you. Help me Lord not to become overwhelmed with details. Let me find the rest that only You can bring. Hold me close, Abba, and don’t let go. I love you! Amen.
I'm one sassy southern Mama who loves Jesus and isn't afraid to shout it. My passions are Jesus, my husband, my kids, and chocolate. I'm a teacher turned Christian writer. Ask me why I love Jesus and be prepared to sit a spell.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul, but don't forget to love your neighbor as yourself. I am a firm believer that we can change the world one person at a time - by being Christ with the skin on to those who are in need.
Are you a sheep or a goat?
Precious, precious. True statement on both an earthly and heavenly realm.
I’m so glad for a heavenly Father I may rest in.

I’ve had an exhausting week running back and forth and staying for hours at the hospital plus running my kids here, there and everywhere….my house is a wreck and I wasn’t prepared for my duties at Sunday school this morn…but your words and especially that scripture verse just stopped my depair in it’s tracks. Thank you.

Thank you Carol, this is just what I needed to read today. No human arms can comfort me as much as my Father’s. The photo is gorgeous too! Thank you again, Paula 🙂
