Just a word. That’s all it takes for someone to know I am from the south. Just one little “y’all” will do the trick. I was born and raised in Georgia, but even in my southern high school friends would often comment on my accent. “You sure are a southern belle,” they would tell me…

Hi Carol,
I read your post on Internet Cafe today and loved it. I thought I’d pop by your site for a visit. (Southerners do that sort of thing right?…just stop by a friend’s house unannounced for a visit):-)
I can just hear your accent now. I’m from the Phila. area, so we have our own special accent to contend with!
I hope my speech doesn’t tell others where I live, but I sure DO hope it gives away who I live for!
I saw this over at Internet Cafe and this has to be one of the best devotions I ever read. I love when people can take something we can all relate to and apply it to the Bible.
Excellent writing, keep it up!
Grace and Peace, Sister Carol!
I read your post on Internet Cafe Devotions this morning…left a comment there, too. LOVED YOUR POST!!!
Thanks for sharing your gifts. God bless you!
