Unexpected Detour

Jan 26

Iā€™m a planner. I carefully select my events, my times, my meals, and even my accessories in effort to make my life ā€“ well, perfect. There is just one problem. Perhaps you already know it…

My girls' devotion this morning was on trusting in the Lord with all of your heart and leaning not on your own understanding. I love your devotion…it goes right along with the one for my girls!

We can trust His detours. And I know I still need some help on responding well to detours. šŸ™‚ I love how you talked about Mary…how she may have felt being awakened to flee. And how we can trust that when He detours us, it could very well be for our protection.

The example I gave my girls this morning was how God had called me away from something I loved, and eventhough I really didn't understand, I still obeyed….finding out later He truly was protecting me and my family.

He is so good to us!
Love how He speaks through you! šŸ™‚
