A Day Without Shoes?

Apr 5

It’s a never-ending source of discontent.
I’m usually an organized person, and I’ve tried all sorts of remedies. But my shoes are never orderly. Never.
I try to organize by style, color, seasons – you name it. Yet, they always end up jumbled up on the floor.
Today, I came across this…

And I’m still trying to process it.
I’ve spent the last couple of days looking for my 19 mo. old new shoes. She has outgrown her footwear so quickly. I’ve compared shoes for price and cuteness factor. So, thinking of the millions of children who go without shoes because they don’t have a choice is upsetting to me.
And it leaves me with just one question. What am I going to do about this?
What are you?
Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. Matthew 25:40 NIV

I love ideas like this. . .raising awareness and getting people (of every age!) involved.

Good job posting this clip. I hadn't heard or seen anything about it. Thanks, Carol!
